Your adventure starts as you land at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh – one of the world's highest airports. This is an acclimatization day due to low oxygen levels in winter. DO NOT roam outside. Take complete rest, drink 3-4 liters of warm water, and let your body adapt to the high altitude and -15°C cold.

Cancellation Policy
- 30+ days before trip: Free Cancellation. Refunded as Credit Note. Fully refunded (minus booking amount)
- 29-21 days before trip: 25% of Trip Amount. Adjusted in refund deduction. Refund after deducting 25%
- 21-15 days before trip: 50% of Trip Amount. Adjusted in refund deduction. Refund after deducting 50%
- 14-0 days before trip: 100% of Paid Amount. No refund. No refund
- Credit Note: Credit Notes issued have 1 year of expiry and can be used entirely in any of your future trips.
- GST: Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
- Pending Refund: Any refund pending on your booking will be credited to the same mode of payment through which you paid in 5-7 working days.
- Partial Refund: Any case in which a partial refund will be issued will be calculated after deducting the Booking Amount and Cancellation Charges depending on the time of Cancellation.
- Remaining Amount: Will be calculated on the amount paid over and above the booking amount.
- Bypass Policy: Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.
- Reschedule: Additional costs will apply, based on the time at which you notify us.
- Notes: If the company cancels the trip due to operational issues, the customer will receive a full refund of the trip amount including GST, excluding any airfare, train fare, or external transport costs not booked through the company.
More Information
- Newark Waterfall Route and itinerary are subject to change as per the instructions of the Ladakh administration, International Youth Club is not responsible for any such changes and holds no control or liability over government decisions.
- Kindly carry sufficient cash, as digital payment options may not be available at Ladakh.
- No refunds will be provided if some sightseeing got canceled due to weather conditions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances after reaching Leh.
- In case a participant chooses to leave the trip early, they will have to arrange their own transportation and accommodation, and no refund will be issued.
- Trip organizers can help arrange taxis, but all associated costs (travel, stay, medical care) will be borne by the participant.
- Any additional expenses arising from itinerary changes due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure such as landslides, riots, traffic jams, etc.) will be borne by the traveler. All disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction only
- Flight/train delays, cancellations, political disruptions, or natural calamities affecting the itinerary will not be IYC responsibility, and any additional costs incurred must be paid by the guest.
- It is mandatory to carry valid ID proof.
- Trekkers are responsible for their own luggage. We are not liable for lost or damaged items.
- A small daypack is recommended for carrying personal items like water, snacks, and valuables.
- Any damage to property or equipment during the trek caused by a guest will have to be compensated by the guest.
- Foreign nationals must pay extra for special permits.
- A basic first aid kit will be available, but guests should carry their own personal medication.
