- Any expenses caused due to conditions beyond our control such as road blockage, road accidents, landslides (to be borne by the customer on the spot)

- Cost incurred due to change in itinerary due to landslides, roadblocks or factors beyond human control.
- Fuel charges for the Vehicle for Self Drive option
- Toll taxes, parking, state taxes for Self Drive option
Cancellation Policy
- If cancellations are made 30 days prior the departure date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
- If cancellations are made 15-30 days prior the departure date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
- If cancellations are made 0-15 days prior the departure date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fee.
More Information
- Winter in Spiti is harsh and temperatures are known to plummet to lesser than -35 degrees Celsius at night. A word of caution: If you are someone who doesn't like the cold or cannot bear extremely cold temperatures, please give up the idea of visiting Spiti in winter. Also, it is advisable to avoid bathing during this trip since water is only available for survival.
- Trip schedule is subjected to change as per road, weather and other unavoidable conditions so take a day or two in buffer.
- This is not an ordinary place its "Spiti".
- Only Team members have the right to take decision depending on above.
- Any extra cost (Transportation/Accommodation) arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances or change in law will be extra.
- The itinerary is subject to favorable weather and road conditions. In case of a bad weather and inaccessibility to certain destinations we will try our best to make alternate plans.
- The temperatures in Spiti Valley dip up to 20°C in winters. We advise the clients to buy suitable clothing and gear for winters. People of Spiti live in this place throughout the year without expensive warm wear so there is nothing to be afraid of. The homestays are well insulated with a traditional/electric heater. The homestays will have dry compost toilets in winter.
- Most hotels will be closed in Spiti during winters, only homestays will be available and most of the Homestays will have common dry pit compost.
- INR 10,000/- needs to be submitted as security for the Self Drive Vehicles at the start of the trip which is refundable at the end of the trip.
- Do carry a blank cheque as it will be required to rent the Self Drive vehicle
- Do carry a Valid Govt ID proof and License.
